Application Procedure

• Assemble dimensioned plans showing scope of project.
• Find applicable permit and contact Community Development Office with any questions or for initial consultation.
• Download and print off any applicable forms or contact the Community Development Office.
• Submit permit application and any fees.

General Information

The amount of time it takes to review a permit depends upon the request.  For smaller projects that do not require extensive review of building plans, such as signs, fences, demolition, moving, parking lots, or urban chicken permit review, averages about three (3) business days for review. For larger projects such as building additions, new buildings and floodplain development, review time averages about 10 business days as other departments will review the request.
