Yoga in the Garden
Mondays in June – all day
“Strike a pose!” Come enjoy the library’s garden and outdoor space. We will have yoga poses for you to try posted along our storywalk! 

Paint w/ Numbers & Pizza
Tuesday June 2nd @ 6:30PM
Meet at the library for a relaxing night with paint by number & pizza time. Registration required. 

Summer Book Club
Wednesdays June 3rd, 10th, and 17th @ 4 to 6PM
Meet the first three Wednesdays in June. Join us anytime between 4 - 6 for a lively book discussion with mocktails provided. We’ll read America’s First Daughter by Stephanie Dray and Laura Kamoie. Pick up your copy at the 1st meeting and read a set number of pages each week. Registration is required. 

Tea Blends
Tuesday June 9th @ 6:30PM
Learn about and experiment with different tea leaves and ingredients to create personalized blends. Also includes a tasting of your creations!

Bookmobile @ Kohlmann Park
Come see us at Kohlmann Park on June 25th and July 23rd @ 7PM!
Not only will there be books to check out, but we will have games (indoor and outdoor) and more! 

Float and Read Day!
@ Three Rivers Park
Time slot for adults is from 5 to 6PM
The Bremer County Conservationists will be bringing the boats, bring your own books! Read in the boat or sit and observe. Adults can join us from 5 to 6 Thursday June 4th. Sack supper will be provided. 

Farmer’s Market Saturdays in June and July
We’re back at the Farmer’s Market again this year each Saturday in June and July from 9 to 11AM.
Every other Saturday we will either have a take-and-make craft kit or have a tasty salad dressing recipe for you to try! (See the library’s website / brochure for more information.) 

Nature Journaling
Tuesday June 16th @ 6:30PM
Join us for an evening taking in nature. A nature journal is a place to record your observations, questions, thoughts, and feelings about everything you experience outdoors. Supplies will be provided. 

Mini Zen Garden
Tuesday June 23rd @ 6:30PM
This event is all about mindfulness and relaxation. We will have the supplies needed to make your own mini zen garden! Registration is required. 

Crochet Bee
Wednesday June 24th @ noon
An expert from the Bremer County Conservation will teach us how to crochet a bee. Bring your own lunch. This will be very beginner-friendly. Supplies will be provided. No registration required. 

Master Gardener Meet & Mingle
Mondays July 6th, 13th @ 5:30 to 7PM
Opportunity for experienced and novice gardeners to discuss gardening. Join us for light refreshments and to exchange ideas. 

Farm-to-Table
Tuesdays July 7th, 14th @ 5:30PM
Potluck style farm-to-table recipe exploration. Recipes chosen by attendees to be published in a take-home booklet. Registration is required. 

Live Cook-A-Long
Wednesdays July 8th, 15th @ 5:30PM
Join us online as we cook fresh summer dinners together! Recipes will be posted ahead so you
can gather supplies. Some of the key ingredients will be available to pick up at the library before the program each week.

Nerf Night (Adults Only)
Friday July 17th @ 8:00PM
It’s Nerf Night at WPL! Arrive with friends, or alone! This event is for adults. If you don't have equipment, the library does have some available: first come, first served.

Family Escape Room
June 29th - July 2nd ALL DAY
Come June 29th - July 2nd and gather your team of 2 - 6 players and sign up for a time to take on the “Liberty or Death” spy themed escape room. Registration is required. 

Magic Mondays
Monday 6 - 8PM
The Magic is in the Gathering! Join us to play the popular card game Magic the Gathering. Bring your own deck or borrow one.
