Teens Lead Internship Program

The Teens Lead Intern Program aims to educate teens in their junior or senior years (or their equivalents) about careers in the library profession. The Teen Leads Intern will work two hours a week at the Library and will work to complete a capstone project of their choosing over the course of the academic year. Interns will support the overall mission of the Waverly Public Library, through which they will develop life skills and gain real-life work experience through their work and community volunteering initiatives.

Teen Advisory Board

Are you a teen (7th-12th grade) with great ideas for the Library, but don’t know where to start? Check out the Teen Advisory Board! TAB will be creating book displays, discussing marketing strategies, planning teen programs, selecting reading materials, writing book and movie reviews, eating snacks, and more. With TAB you can earn service hours, hone leadership skills, get creative, meet new friends, and have fun! If you have more questions or are interested, call or stop by to talk to the Teen Librarian.
