Travis Toliver, IOM 

Executive Director

With almost 20 years of hospitality experience, serving in operational leadership roles at some of the most respected luxury hotels, resorts and casinos in the United States, Travis is highly regarded throughout the hotel industry for his positive management style while producing the highest customer service standards from his teams of employees. Throughout his career Travis has worked for such brands as: Mirage Resorts, Station Casinos, Radisson, Luxury Collection and Historic Hotels of America. Currently, in his sixth year serving as Executive Director for the Waverly Chamber of Commerce and the Waverly Main Street program, Travis continues to use his hospitality skills to help better the Waverly business community and the Cedar Valley of Northeast Iowa. In 2020, Travis graduated from the prestigious Institute for Organizational Management (IOM), a highly sought after four-year professional development program of the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Travis proudly serves on the board of directors for the Iowa Chamber of Commerce ExecutivesWaverly Area Development Fund, Waverly Chamber Music Series, Waverly Economic Development Commission and Waverly's Sister City organization which helps to foster and maintain relations between Waverly, Iowa and Eisenach, Germany.

Tiffany Schrage 

Special Events & Tourism Director

With over 10 years of chamber experience, Tiffany assists with managing and leading the quality of life initiatives that make people want to live, work, and play in the Waverly area. She is highly involved in the community and serves on a variety of boards and commissions which help further promote her professional mission including Waverly Jaycees, Bremer County Relay for Life, Waverly Area Partnership for Healthy Living, Waverly Public Arts Committee and Eastern Iowa Tourism Association. With years of diversified experience and responsibility, Tiffany possesses extensive knowledge in event planning, marketing, fundraising, volunteer management and public relations. Her experience, coupled with her love for the community of Waverly, make her well equipped to assist the Chamber in developing and sustaining dynamic programs that promote an overall quality experience for residents and visitors alike.

Sherry Bormann

Administrative Assistant

Sherry is new to Iowa but joins the Chamber staff with four years of previous chamber experience from her home town of Perham, MN.  There she was an active member of the community and brings to Waverly her “Minnesota nice” perosnality along with many years of various office experiences.  She currently lives in the Tripoli area and is eager to meet new people and to become involved in Waverly and everything this progressive community has to offer.

Sarah Miller

Communications & Marketing Assistant

Sarah joins the Chamber team with 10 years of experience in the Communications & Marketing field.  A graduate of Iowa State University, Sarah started her career as a member of the Communications staff in the Governor’s Office in Des Moines.  After moving back home to Northeast Iowa, she worked in the music marketing office for Luther College and most recently as the Communications Specialist for a nonprofit agency helping adults with disabilities enter the workforce. She and her family recently relocated from Decorah to Waverly and are looking forward to becoming active members of the community.

Veronica Egli

Staff Volunteer

Originally from Sioux City, Iowa, Veronica Egli started her career as a Telephone Operator and Service Assistant for Northwestern Bell. She went on to attend Northeast Iowa Community College located in Calmar, Iowa, where she graduated with an Associate Degree in Accounting.  While attending college, Veronica worked as an assistant to the college’s President and before graduating received an offer of employment at the Waukon Newspapers as their bookkeeper. Rising to the position of Office Manager during her many years of working for the paper, Veronica established herself as a true professional within the newspaper industry in Iowa. Now retired and living in Waverly since 1989, Veronica enjoys volunteering for several local organizations including Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Waverly Chamber of Commerce where she will be celebrating her 14th year, as a volunteer, in May of 2020.
