United Equipment Accessories has completed a facility expansion, adding 20,000 sf of new production space. The project also entails the remodel of existing space to allow for improved operations and continued growth. A leader in the custom design and manufacture of custom components for motion applications, UEA employs 146 in their Waverly facility.

Titan Machinery, Inc. constructed a new facility in Waverly in 2020. Titan Machinery offers new and used agriculture equipment and full-service parts and service support to Waverly and the surrounding area.
The Accel Group
Fall 2019
The Accel Group, one of the largest Iowa-based insurance agencies in the state, is constructing a new headquarters building in Waverly to accommodate present and future growth. The state-of-the-art office building will feature collaborative spaces, designated areas for video conferences and meetings, a café with outdoor patio for employees, and 1,750 square feet of open space for employee and client events. The Accel Group employs approximately 30 team members in Waverly.
Network Control
Expansion, Summer 2019
Network Control, a pioneer and leader in the Telecom Expense Management (TEM) industry, announced that they have inked a deal to move into and renovate property located at 215 20th Street NW in Waverly. The move, which will take place by mid-summer 2019, nearly doubles the company’s workspace in support of continued business growth. Network Control employs 70 team members in Waverly.
CMI Roadbuilding, Inc.

CMI Roadbuilding, Inc. has purchased Terex Corp's former Waverly, IA crane manufacturing facility. CMI's product portfolio offers an extensive range of branded products many of which have been recently redesigned and updated. The product range includes asphalt and concrete plants, milling machines, concrete paving and specialty compaction equipment.

Winnebago Industries has opened a sub-assembly plant in Waverly. The facility is located in Waverly's SW Business Park at 1919 8th St. SW and manufactures wire loom assemblies for the company's motorhomes. The Waverly production facility employs 70 full time workers with a capital investment of $1.5 to $2 million.
Cobblestone Inn and Suites
New Facility, January 2015
Cobblestone Inn and Suites has announced plans to construct a 4-story business class hotel in downtown Waverly valued at $3.4 million. Slated to open in summer 2015, the hotel will feature 45 guest rooms with amenities that appeal to the business traveler.

New Bank Facility, Opening Spring 2015
Farmers State Bank, headquartered in Jesup, Iowa will be constructing a new branch office in Waverly. The branch will offer a lobby, Drive Up window, full service ATM and online banking. Farmers State Bank has 10 branch locations and over $500 million in assets.
United Equipment Accessories
Expansion, August 2014
United Equipment Accessories, a leader in the custom design and manufacture of custom components for motion applications, has announced plans for a 20,000 sf expansion of their facility in Waverly. This expansion, valued at $1.6 million, will increase production capacity for development of a new hydraulic swivel product line. United Equipment employs 120 in Waverly.

Peoples Insurance Agency has announced plans for a $500,000 addition to their facility in Waverly’s SW Business Park. A family owned and operated independent insurance agency providing insurance solutions in 44 states, Peoples Insurance will be adding 45 new jobs to its professional workforce in Waverly.
GMT Corporation
Expansion, July 2011
GMT Corporation has announced plans for expansion of their operations in Waverly. GMT specializes in machining large iron castings and the fabrication of large steel assemblies with customers that include John Deere, Caterpillar and Terex. The company's project includes a new 46,000-square-foot building and the purchase of up to $25 million in new machinery and equipment, for a total capital investment of $29.8 million. The expansion will result in the addition of 22 full-time jobs.
