  • Budget Development and Oversight: Coordinating the preparation of the annual budget in collaboration with City departments, monitoring expenditures, and supporting long-term financial planning.
  • Audit Coordination: Preparing for and facilitating the City’s annual external audit, ensuring compliance with audit standards, and implementing recommendations to improve financial practices.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Managing vendor payments, issuing checks, processing cash receipts, and maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing funds.
  • Cash and Investment Management: Monitoring daily cash flow, managing bank accounts, and investing public funds responsibly in accordance with state law and City policy.
  • Debt Administration: Handling the issuance and repayment of bonds and other debt instruments, and ensuring compliance with debt service obligations.
