The Avenue of the Saints, a 4-lane north-south transportation corridor, runs through Bremer County with direct access from Waverly. This highway connects St. Paul, MN with St. Louis, MO, and provides a 4-lane connection to Interstates I-35 and I-80.

US Highway 20, a 4-lane east-west federal highway, is in close proximity and easily accessible from Waverly via 4-lane highway. This highway provides a direct route to Chicago to the east, and connects with Interstate I-35 to the west.
