Waverly Chamber Ambassadors Recognize Area Businesses
Waverly, IA – The Waverly Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently presented two local business with Progress Awards for their investment in the business community of Waverly.
The Ambassadors presented Jason Clark, General Manager of Prairie Links Golf Club at 19 Eagle Ridge Drive, and Emily Laudner, pool manager, with a Progress Award to celebrate the opening of their new pool, patio, and Jason’s new position as general manager. The new golf pro at the Club is John Thompson (not pictured). Prairie Links is a family friendly golf club and event center open to the public and offers various membership levels. The Ambassadors presented AssuredPartners of Waverly (formerly Group Benefit Partners) at 1140 10th Ave. SW Suite A, with a Progress Award as they joined with Peoples Insurance Agency (1700 8th Ave. SW) and both rebranded as AssuredPartners of Waverly. Beginning July 6th, Peoples Insurance Agency will fully adopt the new name and brand identity of AssuredPartners. This is an effort to more outwardly align their relationship with the parent company. AssuredPartners, with whom they joined forces in May 2018, was founded in 2011 and has become one of the nation’s fastest growing insurance brokerages, ranking number 11 in size overall.
