Waverly Rail Trail Storm Cleanup and Maintenance

The Waverly Rail Trail was temporarily closed today as City staff worked to clear storm-related debris. The section from Waverly’s trailhead to Highway 63 has been cleared of large debris and reopened this afternoon. However, some storm debris remains and additional cleanup is needed.
The Rail Trail will close again tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. as City staff continue cleanup efforts and perform additional maintenance mowing.
