Boat Ramp and Three Rivers Park Access to Close for Construction
posted in Leisure Services on September 8, 2026
The City of Waverly is announcing the upcoming closure of the boat ramp and Three Rivers Park, also known as the Duck Pond, as construction begins on a new boat ramp and paved parking lot.
To accommodate the construction, the north entrance near Waverly Utilities will be completely closed, and there will be no public access to Three Rivers Park during the construction period. The construction area is highlighted in orange below.
Construction is anticipated to begin September 14 or September 21, depending on weather conditions, and is currently expected to be completed by mid-December.
The City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation while this improvement project is underway. Once completed, the project will provide a new boat ramp, a paved parking area, and an ADA-accessible sidewalk extending from the parking area to the bottom of the boat ramp for residents and visitors to enjoy in the future.
Additional updates will be provided as the project progresses.
