Waverly, IA – The Waverly Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently held one ribbon cutting in Waverly, presenting one new business with a First Dollar Award and three existing businesses with Progress Awards.
The Ambassadors met with Bremer County Fair Association board president Josh Petersen to present a Progress Award to the Bremer County Fair, celebrating their 150th anniversary as well as the newly completed fairgrounds located at 300 39th Street, NE. This milestone year marks a significant moment in the history of the Bremer County Fair, as they celebrate 150 years of tradition, community, and agriculture. Alongside this anniversary, the Fair is proud to unveil its new fairground location, a project years in the making.
