Waverly, IA – The Waverly Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently held one ribbon cutting in Waverly, presenting one new business with a First Dollar Award and two existing businesses with Progress Awards.

The Ambassadors met with President Dani Gordon and team of 1Vision Communications to hold a Progress Award presentation to celebrate Dani’s advancement from co-owner to sole owner and president in March of 2025. This leadership transition follows the retirement of founder Blake Conover from day-to-day operations, though he continues to serve as CEO. The Ambassadors met with owner Jan Kaste to hold a ribbon cutting and First Dollar Award presentation to celebrate the opening of The Prairie Bee, located at 221 E Bremer Ave. The Prairie Bee officially opened its doors in late March of 2025, and offers a curated selection of antique and vintage items. The Ambassadors met with Marketing & Engagement Specialist Annika Wall and the team at Cedar Valley Hospice to hold a Progress Award presentation celebrating Cedar Valley Hospice’s recent move to a new office location in Waverly, now located at 300 E Bremer Ave, Suite 100.
Having served the Waverly community since 1997, Cedar Valley Hospice has experienced steady growth in response to the increasing need for its services. As the organization expanded to serve more patients, the need for additional space became essential. The new location provides a more functional and welcoming environment for both staff and clients, supporting the agency’s mission while allowing room for continued growth.
