Waverly Chamber Ambassadors Recognize Area Businesses

Waverly, IA – The Waverly Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently presented a local business with a Progress Award and also welcomed two new businesses to Waverly with ribbon cuttings and First Dollar Award presentations.

The Ambassadors presented Fidelity Bank & Trust with a Progress Award for their recent hirings of two additional staff members in their Waverly locations. Adam Schaufenbuel joined the bank in March as a Vice President of Ag/Commercial Loans in Waverly. Schaufenbuel has several years of experience in community banking and he and his family recently relocated from Elkader. Julie Versluis, Certified Trust and Financial Advisor, joined the bank in December as a Vice President & Trust Officer. Versluis bring 24 years of trust experience to Fidelity with expertise in areas of Estate & Trust Administration, Portfolio Management and Financial and Estate Planning.

The Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting and presented a First Dollar Award to Greenleaf Tobacco & Vape Shop, located at 2121 4th St. SW #B. Greenleaf Tobacco & Vape Shop opened in Waverly in the summer of 2021. They offer pipe tobacco, e-cigarettes, pipes, CBD and more. The Ambassador Committee welcomed T-Mobile to Waverly with a ribbon cutting and First Dollar Award presentation. T-Mobile Waverly is located at 1810 4th St SW, Ste. 103. They opened in February 2022 and serve as an additional wireless carrier option for Waverly and the surrounding area.  T-Mobile is America’s largest 5G network, providing fast and reliable 5G coverage.
