Waverly Chamber Ambassadors Recognize Area Businesses

Waverly, IA – The Waverly Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently presented Progress Awards to three local businesses. 

The Ambassadors presented Mark and Angie Hubbard, owners of Northwestern Mutual’s Hubbard Financial Group with a Progress Award to celebrate their recent relocation to a new office at 2020 A 3rd Ave. NW. Hubbard Financial Group offers financial services such as investment planning and strategies, retirement planning, wealth management and more. The Ambassadors presented Terri Meister of The Mixing Bowl, at 214 E Bremer Ave. with a Progress Award to celebrate her 5th anniversary of being in business. The Mixing Bowl offers an assortment of home-baked favorites made from scratch, including cookies, cakes, donuts, and much more. The Ambassadors presented Jamie Borglum of CrawDaddy Outdoors, at 207 E Bremer Ave. with a Progress Award to celebrate his new ownership of CrawDaddy Outdoors. Jamie and his wife Renee became the owners of CrawDaddy Outdoors in January of this year. CrawDaddy Outdoors is a sports and recreation retail shop that offers one of Iowa’s largest selections of kayaks, backpacking equipment, and camping gear.
