Waverly Chamber Ambassadors Recognize Area Businesses

Waverly, IA – The Waverly Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently held a ribbon cutting for one business in Waverly, presenting them with a First Dollar Award, and presented two businesses with Progress Awards.

The Ambassadors presented Kori Chamberlin, executive director of All in Mentoring with a Progress Award to celebrate AIM’s new part-time hire, Match Coordinator Danielle Duppong, as well as new mentors in the program. All in Mentoring pairs adult mentors with kids in K-6th grade, with school and community mentoring programs that allow children and mentors to play games, do crafts, attend community events, go bowling, and much more. AIM exists to “fill the gaps,” helping every child have the support they need to become who they were created to be, by addressing the social, emotional, and mental health of the youth in our community. You can find more information about All in Mentoring on their website, https://allinmentoring.org/.

The Ambassadors presented Alex Stutzman, owner of Lover’s Lane Lookout, with a First Dollar Award and a ribbon cutting celebrating the opening of their vacation rental property in July 2023. Lover’s Lane Lookout is located within walking distance of downtown Waverly, offers a private hot tub on the lower deck, and features a ‘Kid’s Corner’ for little ones.
