The Waverly Chamber of Commerce recently awarded two Façade Improvement Grants to Bo Studio.121 and Tenenbaum’s Jewelry.

Administered by the Chamber’s Design and Beautification Committee, the primary objective of the Façade Improvement Grant Program is to revitalize properties in Waverly by preserving and restoring existing buildings and storefronts. The grant provides technical assistance along with a grant to building owners.

“The façade grant program provides valuable assistance to our member businesses and property owners,” stated Steve Egli, chair of the committee.

Bo Studio. 121, located at 121 East Bremer Ave, completed updates to their building including the glazing and repainting of their front entryway. Tenenbaum’s Jewelry recently completed a total façade transformation including a new stone exterior wall, new storefront windows; a new awning with LED lit signage, and siding.

Both businesses have done exceptional work enhancing the appearance of their storefronts and are great assets to the community.

Façade Grants through the Waverly Chamber are awarded annually to businesses who apply for matching funding to preserve and restore existing buildings and storefronts.
