Book Clubs

The Waverly Public Library is excited to offer a variety of book club choices to our patrons.

Mysteries & Munchies:

Each month a new mystery author is selected and participants can read any book they've written. Readers then meet at the library on the second Sunday of the month at 1:30 pm. The Friends of the Waverly Public Library sponsor this delight for book and mystery lovers. Mary Schmidt, columnist, plans and leads the discussions. Open to all. No charge.

Read til YA Drop:

If you love to read you are definitely going to want to join the Waverly Public Library’s book club for adults (18 and over), “Read til YA drop”. The club reads Young Adult fiction from a wide variety of genres including realistic fiction, fantasy, dystopian, and more. We will provide the book to read ahead of time and snacks will be provided at the meeting.

We meet the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm in the library’s conference room. To view our past titles click here.

If you’re interested in joining the club please contact Emily and Jillian at the library: 319-352-1223 or
