15 June 2012 - Waverly Police arrest Lucas Nolte
The Waverly Police Department announces that two charges of Burglary in the 2nd Degree are being filed against Lucas John Nolte (18) of Waverly. The charges stem from multiple investigations into occupied home invasions, car burglaries, and thefts ranging back to May of 2011. The crimes are class ‘C’ felonies carrying prison terms of up to ten years and fines up to $10,000 if convicted. More charges are expected with the filing of the trial information by the Bremer County Attorney’s Office.
To date, the investigation continues but has cleared at least fifteen reports of burglary and theft in Waverly with expectation to clear others. Nolte was booked and released from the Bremer County Jail and has an initial appearance scheduled before the Bremer County Magistrate on 06/22 at 9:30 a.m.
