Criminal Investigations Division

 

The Criminal Investigations Division of the Waverly Police Department is responsible for investigating crimes against persons and property.

These investigations include, but not limited to, homicide, suspicious deaths, robbery, burglary, sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse allegations, assaults, missing persons, illegal narcotics activity, computer related crime, and white collar crimes. The Criminal Investigation Division utilizes crime analysis information and collaborative strategies in order to effectively address major crime problems in the community. The key to the professionalism of the Criminal Investigation Division is built upon their relationship with the community, other criminal justice personnel, law enforcement, and social service agencies.
