Waverly Municipal Swimming Pool to Remain Closed for 2020

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the extension of Iowa’s Public Health Disaster Emergency Proclamation from the Governor, the difficult decision has been made for the Waverly Municipal Swimming Pool to remain closed for the 2020 season.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide adequate staffing to appropriately follow these recommendations. We feel that for the health and well being of the City of Waverly residents and pool staff, it would be in everyone’s best interest to keep the pool closed for the remainder of the 2020 season.

All gift certificates that were purchased for 2020 season passes will be honored for 2021. If you have a gift certificate please bring or mail it to the Leisure Services office located in Waverly City Hall at 200 1st St. NE, Waverly, IA. A new gift certificate will be issued and dated accordingly.

Our apologies for any inconveniences this may cause, however, we thank the citizens of Waverly for understanding. Our primary goal is for the safety and health of all citizens as we continue to endure this pandemic. We look forward to 2021 with high hopes for a regular pool season to come!
