Waverly Dog Park Walking Path Construction Near Completion

posted in Leisure Services on July 3, 2019

If you have been to the Waverly Dog Park recently you’ve noticed the beautiful new cement walking path being installed in the large dog area. This walking path has been made possible by a generous donation from Brian and Janadene Harvey. The path is a wonderful asset to the park, allowing dog owners to get farther out into the large dog area to observe and engage with their dogs. The path is coming along nicely. The City hopes to re-open the large dog area by Monday, July 15, possibly sooner. Signs will be posted when the area is officially open.Thank you again to Brian and Janadene for making this project possible.
