Waverly Dog Park Walking Path Completed

posted in Leisure Services on July 26, 2019

If you have been to the Waverly Dog Park recently you’ve noticed the beautiful new cement walking path that has been installed in the large dog area. This walking path has been made possible by a very generous donation from Brian and Janadene Harvey. The path is a wonderful asset to the park, allowing all dog owners to get farther out into the large dog area to observe and engage with their furry friends.

Along with this donation of $35,000 to be used for the walking path and additional improvements to the dog park, Brian and Janadene have pledged an additional $15,000 to provide an additional shelter for the dog park next year.

Thank you again to Brian and Janadene for their generosity in making these projects possible.

The large dog park area has been reopened so be sure to come out and enjoy its newest amenity!

A high quality of life, friendly and progressive merchants, and a college town atmosphere; this is Waverly, Iowa.
