Learn Over Lunch - March 2016

Waverly Chamber of Commerce is hosting a new “Learn Over Lunch” workshop series.  These workshops are designed to help Chamber Members with their educational business needs.

In the first of the series, Waverly Chamber of Commerce and Rulapaugh Marketing are helping businesses grow their presence online with a “Let’s Put Waverly on the Map” workshop, which will feature lessons about “getting found on google search and maps” and “growing your business online”. The workshop will be hosted on March 23rd at the Waverly Civic Center from 11:30-1:00 pm.  Lunch will be provided and the cost is $10 for Chamber members and $20 for non-Chamber members.

Let’s Put Waverly on the Map is part of Google’s Get Your Business Online program and aims to bring community members, business owners, and civic leaders together to help businesses succeed on the web.

“4 out of 5 consumers use search engines to find local information nearby, yet only 37% of businesses have claimed their listing on a search engine,” says Soo Young Kim, Head of Small Business Engagement at Google. “Small businesses are the engine of local economies and when they flourish, their communities do as well.”

If your business is looking to have a stronger online presence you will not want to miss this workshop.  RSVP today at waverly@waverlychamber.com or call 319-352-4526.
