Concerts In Kohlmann- 2016 Final Concert
Concerts In Kohlmann will come to a close this week with our last concert taking place on Thursday, July 21, 2016. Farmers State Bank will sponsor the event featuring performances by the incredible Maddie Poppe, followed by the Greater Waverly Municipal Band. Maddie Poppe is an eighteen year old indie-pop singer-songwriter from Clarksville, Iowa who appeared on NBC's "The Voice" during season 10 blind auditions. Maddie has played at numerous venues across the state of Iowa including local fairs and town festivals and we’re excited to have her back at CIK again this year! Entertainment will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Shades of Rhythm Amphitheater located in Kohlmann Park. Representatives from Farmers State Bank will be on hand serving free popcorn and lemonade for all to enjoy. This week Inflatable Fun for kids of all ages will be hosted by Noel Fry State Farm and food from Hy-Vee Grill will be available for purchase during the event. This week also marks our last CIK Boat Float led by CrawDaddy Outdoors. Those wishing to participate enjoy a light paddle down to the park and listen to music while floating on the Cedar River.
