Leisure Services Director

History

The Waverly Parks and Recreation Department was formed as a professional Department in 1976. Prior to that time, recreation services were provided on a volunteer basis with supervision from a policy-making Recreation Commission.

Leisure Services Commission

The Leisure Services Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council on matters related to Parks, Golf Course, Pro Shop, Cemetery, Leisure Swimming Pool, and Civic Center operations and facilities. They work closely with the City Leisure Services staff.
