Steiber, for a slide show presentation featuring barn quilts from Black Hawk, Bremer, Butler, Grundy, and Wright Counties as well as the sidewalks of the City of Kalona. This popular presentation includes history on the Ungeround Railroad through Iowa in the 1800's and the 15 quilt patterns provided messages for slaves in their quest to be free of slavery.
