The youth of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Greene are hosting a Texas BBQ & Silent Auction fundraising event to raise money for our 2019 summer mission trip to Houston. Come enjoy delicious BBQ and bid on over 100 silent auction items donated by local business and supporters!

A free will donation is requested for the meal, and we'll be serving from 11:00 - 1:00 on Sunday, May 5, 2019. The menu includes beef, pork, and turkey with sides of baked beans, cheesy potatoes, cornbread, coleslaw, sweet tea, lemonade, and peach cobbler for desert!

All proceeds support the 22 youth and adults from 3 different area churches going to Houston this July. In Houston, we will be partnering with several local service organizations, including assisting in the ongoing relief efforts from 2017's Hurricane Harvey. The trip also includes the opportunity for some educational experiences including visiting a Holocaust museum and the Houston Space Center.
