Hitting it out of the park-How to keep your employees happy

Today's millennials are looking for flexibility, value, choice and control over their benefit packages. An employer who is not willing to provide a benefit package with these attributes will have difficulty attracting and retaining good employees. Account based concepts take the premise of employee flexibility, choice and control that is provided in the retirement plan area by 401(k)s and SIMPLE IRAs and apply it to their other benefits as well.

Also, often the passing away or other exit of a key employee from a business can cause a challenge to the business' survival and growth. Planning for a smooth management or ownership tranisition and tying key employees to a business are critical elements of proper business planning. We will discuss some simple solutions that have been used by actual businesses to be ready for these eventualities.
