Workplace Exploration Day

The Waverly Area Education Roundtable is seeking businesses to participate in a Workplace Exploration Day. The Roundtable and local school administrators are planning a one-day program for teachers and other interested school staff to learn first-hand about the job skills, working conditions, advancement opportunities, and future employment prospects that exist within various sectors of our local economy.

This one-day “work exploration” is planned for early June with the tentative dates of June 4 and/or 5. As a first step in planning this program we are seeking businesses interested in participating. Participation requires hosting a group(s) of approximately 4 - 8 school staff (exact size to be determined). About 90 minutes will be allotted for each visit and we expect that each school staff group may be able to attend two visits a day.  If you are interested in participating as a host and want to learn more about this program as it takes shape, please click on this link to complete the brief interest survey:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Work_Explore.
